Will Pyne – Executive Creative Director
Agency founder
2001 – 2016
I graduated in Design and started a thing: Holler. Hard work and timing (never underestimate timing) turned it into an award-winning creative shop – and my calling for 15 years.
By the time I exited, selling to Leo Burnett (oui, Publicis), we'd made the E4 show 'Skins' off-the-scale famous by building a captive audience on MySpace, created a Cannes-slash-Emmy-slash-everything-winning film in 'Like A Girl' for P&G Always, and helped brands like Red Bull, Innocent and Mercedes-Benz connect with new audiences. All of it driven by creativity.
Media Owner
2016 – 2020
As Brave Bison's first Chief Creative Officer, I brought commercial nous and creativity to building a team and a physical studio for multi-platform content at scale, across a global network of entertainment channels.
From creator-led football YouTube shows like Park Life to behemoth viral-clip channels; from the first sustainability channel of its kind to branded content for the likes of Marriott, Ellesse and the PGA.
I fronted keynotes at AdWeek and Spikes Asia, and worked with some of the biggest creators on some of the most innovative (and, frankly, nuts) ideas.
One hell of a ride.
Brand foundations
2020 – present
After chapters one and two built my own identity, I turned to helping others build theirs. Since 2020, I've been helping founders and C-suite leaders tell better stories, build stronger foundations and shape more compelling brands. From articulating vision and designing brand identities, to helping founders hone their thought leadership through content strategy and execution.
Same as always – finding the truth and making it impossible to ignore.
You can work with me as a lone gun-for-hire, or with my collective of experienced industry leaders, thinkers and creators: Pivotal Studio for AI design systems, Life&Death for founder storytelling, Design Future Studio for scaling through design.
