Be grateful for your flat face.

The shape of your face means you can choke.

And I mean literally.

Apparently, at some point in our evolutionary history we evolved a uniquely shaped vocal tract. No other species has it quite like we do. It's why we can produce the range of weird sounds needed for complex language.
It’s also why we're the only animal that regularly chokes on our food. The same anatomy that could kill us made us the last human species standing.

Choking is the price of the vocal tract. Worth it… we're still here.

AI can now produce infinite language, infinitely cheap. No anatomy required.

Apocalypse headlines say most jobs disappear within years. And they might be right.

But for some, AI is doing something more interesting. It's clarifying us rather than replacing us.

When the output is infinite, the scarce thing is intention.

Taste.
Meaning.
One person trying to reach another on purpose.

I think we are, at our core, communicating animals. It’s our whole deal.

What if the most human thing you can do is also, for the first time in a long time, the most competitively valuable?

Be grateful for your flat face.
